Summer Land Camels

Tourism destination, Australia's largest Camel dairy farm, homestead cafe and farm shop, tours and camel rides, events and markets for up to 2000 people, Dairy farm, dairy processing, food and product development, fully operational working farm. Open 7 days a week. 

What did we do?

Celine is the Hospitality and Tourism expert working closely with her team to achieve the highest standards of customer care and satisfaction. Managing rosters, workflows, setting new standards, working within the team, all administration and reservations, costing and cost control as well as managing events on a day-to-day base and staff training. Managing the POS and booking systems. 

 

Peter is the event and operations manager and food expert on the farm, overlooking food and product development, menu design, and quality control. He is overlooking all aspects of food and beverage sales (dairy products, meat and fine goods, and vodka), customer care on the farm and our retail and restaurant customers. Interstate and International logistics is another area of involvement, working with transport companies to ensure safe and timely deliveries. 

Organizing, managing, and operating larger events and customer liaison during busy weekends. 

 

And of course, in our free time, we spend time with our camels here on the farm. Learning about their behaviour, nature, and training. Enjoying the fruits of our work including the cheeses, fine goods, skincare, milk, and sometimes the vodka.
