C'est Bon Restaurant, Wine Bar and Bistro

Award Winning French Restaurant, top 100 restaurants in Qld 2019

60 seats, Lunch and Dinner. After extension and refurbishment in 2018 Wine Bar for up to 40 guests, a Bistro and Terrace for up to 75 guests, a Fine Dining room for 45 guests, a Wine Cellar for 35 guests and a rooftop function area for up to 60. 

What did we do?

2012 -  2018 C’est Bon Restaurant

Celine bought the restaurant from Michel Bonnet in 2012. In addition to previous responsibilities, she was now looking after the payroll and bookkeeping, as well as running the entire venue. 

Peter came on board as Chef de cuisine and consultant in September 2012.

2018 - 2020 C’est Bon Refurbishment

The new design and business idea evolved in 2016/2017, starting the rebuilding and refurbishment of the heritage-listed building in 2018. During these 2 years, a great team of architects, builders and designers created with us the new C'est Bon, an exciting, versatile French Hub, with multiple outlets like the wine cellar, bistro, wine bar, fine dining, garden terrace and roof deck.  

​Working with a fantastic team, branding companies, marketing advocates and others to achieve our vision was exhilarating, exciting and rewarding. 

​

We modernised the POS and payroll system, moving from MYOB bookkeeping to the online platform Xero.

 

At the same time, we improved the marketing, moving into the 21st century and changed the branding of the business.

Creating new menus for breakfast, bistro, dining, bar and functions, giving them the modern trend touch without losing the authenticity of French cuisine and the C'est Bon identity. Drastically growing the wine list, now having a fully temperature-controlled wine cellar. 

After opening half the operation in mid-2018, we had the grand opening in June 2019 with all areas fully operational.

In 2020, we decided to follow new goals.
