What did we do?

2012 -  2018 C’est Bon Restauant

Celine bought the restaurant from Michel Bonnet in 2012. Additional to previous responsibilities she was now looking after the payroll and bookkeeping, as well as running the entire venue.

Peter came on board as Chef de cuisine and consultant in September 2011.

2018 - 2020 C’est Bon Refurbishment

The new design and business idea evolved in 2016/2017. Starting the rebuilding and refurbishment of the heritage-listed building in 2018. Over 2 years we turned it into a French Hub, creating multiple outlets like the wine cellar, bistro, wine bar, fine dining, garden terrace and roof deck.

We were responsible for the logistics design of the operation, working with interiour designers, architects, branding companies and others to achieve our vision.

Modernising the POS and payroll system, updating the marketing and changing the branding of the business.

At this time we moved from MYOB to Xero to be able to integrate all systems.

Extending the wine menu and creating an exciting cocktail and drinks menu.

Implementing new standards for the front and back of the house.

At the same time, we created new menus for breakfast, bistro, dining, bar and functions, adjusting them more with the modern trends without losing the authenticity of French cuisine.

After opening half the operation in mid-2018 we had the grand opening in June 2019 with all areas fully operational.
